Introducing the Sport 1 Design...... This model has been designed by Steve Taylor (me) and Karl Harrod... for a NEW class of racing that has been created so that if anyone wanting to give Pylon Racing a try can do so without having to worry about spending heaps of cash to be a competitive racer. Nor will competing against someone with a superior model be a problem as everyone will have the same setup as you.

Instead, you put your flying skills to work against those of other competitors who also have the desire to win. This way it evens out the odds when it comes to putting race times on the board and you can't blame anyone if you don't do so well... but who knows next time it might be you that wins and they won't be able to blame you either... I have been racing for a few years now and let me tell you that when you do well... it feels great! Not to mention you get hone your skills as a pilot....

These are the first Sport One Design Racers built... The red and white plane was the prototype, and the yellow and orange plane belongs to Brenton... Everyone that has flown the S1D says that they fly very well... Which is just what the doctor ordered for a beginner class of racing... We have tested their speed with a radar gun, and the results we received were between 170 and 180kph. They also take off easily and land very well. Any sport flier would find these models easy to fly......
