The Basic Kit...... $50.00 + Postage

Comes with a Glass Fuselage and a single full length Foam Wing Core.... Building instructions with tail and servo tray templates are included.... The Basic Kit is pictured below.....

Please E-mail orders to me here....

The Fuselage

The Fuselage is made of Glass Reinforced Epoxy..... It does come in a limited range of colours which can be discussed upon at the time of order... if how ever you would prefer to paint your own colour scheme on the model, then the Fuselage can be ordered in undercoat.....

With the painted Fuselage there is a join line through the centre which is fairly visible but not annoying enough to warrant mucking around with.... of course this all comes down to personal choice... As you can see in the photo above.... the Fin is already moulded in with the Fuse, there is a balsa strip set into the fin upon joining, allowing for the rudder to be cut off and hinged...

The Fuse also comes with the Firewall already installed, making it very easy to drill a few holes to suit what ever engine mount you wish to use..... It is then a simple task to place blind nuts behind the fire wall.... The idea of having the engine exposed on the front is to allow for both easy engine installation, as well making it easy to work with the engine for maintenance etc....

A large wing seat with wing fillets allows the wing to be mounted easily and sturdily..... The Fuselage also has a slot with fillets for the Stabiliser already moulded in....... This slot is already set at the correct Incidence so that minimum setup is needed in the building of this model..... Just build the tail and glue into position...

The Wing

The wing is of the Foam Core variety..... This Wing was designed for the S1D Racer to both fly well and stable..... You will notice that the Wing is fairly thick... this was done deliberately to slow the plane down to accommodate the beginner to Pylon Racing..... This has resulted in a plane that flies very well and can be flown by any sport flier....

Some people out there who have built Foam Core Wings before should not have a problem with this Wing..... But to those who have never built a Foam Core Wing before, you may find this a little daunting..... But it's easy!.... At this site there are complete Building Instructions on how to build this Foam Wing from start to finnish.

If you still think your not ready to tackle the Wing building process there is a Delux S1D Kit available.... (see below)

The Delux Kit...... $200 + Postage

Other bits and pieces you will need to build the kit are available from us...... These have been put together to form the Delux Kit....

  1. The Delux Kit consists of a Glass Fuselage with Rudder cut off and Hinged.....
  2. Completely built Wing with Aileron Torque rods installed with the Ailerons cut out and Hinged..... A glass bandage is placed around the centre of the Wing so that damage from rubbing on the fuselage will be avoided, The Landing Gear Block is installed.....
  3. Wing Tips will be blunt, however if Fancy Wing Tips are wanted you will be required to build them yourself.....
  4. Stabiliser is complete with Hinged Elevator ready for covering and gluing into your Fuselage.....
  5. Duralium Landing Gear is supplied.....
  6. Servo tray cut out to fit Fuselage to suit your intended radio installation (this can be established upon ordering).....
  7. Complete Building Instructions to finnish your S1D Racer....
Below are some pictures of Delux Kits sent to Townsville...... You can see the different colours that were used on these particular models.... All Fuselages were painted in the mould so all that was left to do is paint on a canopy.... Note the finnished Stabilisers and a built Wing..... The Guys these Kits went to were wrapped with the kit, and commented how they needed bugger all work to finnish...
