Ok first things first..... QMARA stands for "Queensland Model Aircraft Racing Association".....

This association is setup for all fliers that fly pylon, and is geared around supporting Pylon Racing Pilots with the necessary equipment and organisation to hold racing events here in Queensland.... If you wish to go Pylon Racing it would be a good idea to join QMARA for a small fee of $20 a year.... This fee helps support the association with costs in relation to equipment maintenance, and all other items and services that are required to run an organisation.... With out this support there would not be the necessary funds and equipment to hold these racing events... Remember you will be using this equipment too...

Some of the equipment that is needed to run an event is listed below....

1. Trailer cage for number 1 pylon...
2. Clock timers for the racers...
3. Stop watches and other time keeping equipment...
4. Cages for cut Judges...
5. All necessary paperwork for time keeping...
6. And most importantly, People to run the event...

QMARA also lets members know times and dates of up coming events, as well as keeping members up to date with what is happening on the Pylon Racing scene.... Usually in the form of a news letter... This way everyone knows what is going on and don't have to worry about if there is an event coming up that you would like to go to.....
